Christian Samoan Special Character
Your child will be involved in interactive Bible stories, songs, prayers and activities at Lalaga. We are a multi-cultural preschool which values the language, ethnicity, religion, and culture of each child. We actively acknowledge and are committed to the partnership inherent in the Treaty of Waitangi.
Lalaga is also uniquely Christian Samoan in its heritage, values and outlook. Children will be exposed to Samoan language, cultural stories and activities. All children are included and will be encouraged to participate in the various culture and language learning opportunities.
TE WHĀRIKI – National Early Childhood Curriculum
This forms the basis for our planning and assessments, with Biblical principles and teaching interwoven into our daily programme. We endeavour to provide a rich daily curriculum that will assist children to become competent and confident lifelong learners developing to their fullest potential.
