Christian Samoan Special Character
At Lalaga, your child will engage in interactive Bible stories, songs, prayers, and hands-on activities rooted in Christian values. As a multicultural preschool, we embrace and celebrate the language, ethnicity, and cultural identity of every child.
Lalaga is uniquely shaped by its Christian Samoan heritage, which influences our values, environment, and daily practices. Children are immersed in the Samoan language and cultural traditions through stories, songs, and activities that reflect our rich heritage. We ensure that all children feel welcomed and are encouraged to take part in these meaningful cultural and language experiences.
Our commitment to inclusivity is also grounded in the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, and we strive to honour this partnership in all aspects of our teaching and community engagement.

TE WHĀRIKI – National Early Childhood Curriculum
This forms the basis for our planning and assessments, with Biblical principles and teaching interwoven into our daily programme. We endeavour to provide a rich daily curriculum that will assist children to become competent and confident lifelong learners developing to their fullest potential.
